Directions to the Mansions

Directions from Providence
  1. Follow 195 east to Route 24 (Fall River) to Route 114 South.
  2. Follow Route 114 South into town.
  3. At the intersection just past Dunkin Donuts and at the corner with Modern Furniture Galleries, turn left onto Route 214, which is Valley Road.
  4. Follow 214 to the beach area (passing through 3 stoplights), bear right past the beach area and continue up to the top of the hill (you are on Memorial Boulevard-a four lane divided road).
  5. At the main intersection, turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. Proceed along Bellevue Avenue. Signs for the Newport Mansions are along Bellevue Avenue.

Directions from Boston Area
  1. Follow 128 South (this is also I-95 South) past the exit where I-95 splits off. At this point, 128 becomes 93 North.
  2. Continue to the exit for Route 24 (Fall River).
  3. Follow Route 24 to Route 114 South.
  4. Follow Route 114 South into town. At the intersection just past Dunkin Donuts and at the corner with Modern Furniture Galleries, turn left at the traffic light onto Route 214, which is Valley Road.
  5. Follow 214 to the beach area (passing through 3 stoplights), bear right past the beach area and continue up to the top of the hill (you are on Memorial Boulevard-a four lane divided road).
  6. At the four-way intersection, turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. Proceed south along Bellevue, and follow the signs for the mansions.

Directions from New York
  1. Follow I-95 North to Rhode Island Exit #3. This will bring you to Route 138.
  2. Follow signs for the Newport Bridge, (which is a $2.00 toll bridge) and take the scenic Newport exit off the bridge.
  3. At the bottom of the ramp turn right. Proceed through one stoplight.
  4. At the second stoplight turn right. This is America's Cup Avenue.
  5. On America's Cup Avenue, proceed through 6 stoplights.
  6. At the 7th stoplight bear left up the hill. Continue past one more stoplight.
  7. At the next stoplight intersection, at the top of the hill, turn right onto Bellevue Avenue. Proceed along Bellevue Avenue; signs indicating the Newport Mansions are along Bellevue Avenue.
