We only spent nine hours walking door-to-door-to-door in Newport and looked at every room in town!

Please tell our friend Victoria where you are staying!

Whatever You Do, Try To Avoid The Following Hotels!!!! (listed alphabetically)

The Best Western Atlantic Beach HotelLocated in Middletown, across from the beach, this is another shocking example of over-pricing. This all "suite" hotel charges $300 a night for rooms that are smaller than a New York City apartment!

Historic Hill InnLooks nice on the outside and well-priced, but unless you want to live with the Innkeepers' noisy children, just say no to this family home masquerading as a bed and breakfast!

The Hotel VikingConsidered one of the "best" hotels in Newport (give us a break!), The Hotel Viking is an old brick hotel in the center of town. Recently renovated and upgraded, the hotel offers a labyrinth of the lowest Holiday-Inn quality rooms at a steep $400 a night price tag, with a three night minimum. Need I say more?

The Inntowne
Prime location, and authentic old building, but this place smells!

The Yankee PeddlerOver priced, scary owners, hideous rooms, broken down mattresses in rooms with strange, camp-like bathrooms... Avoid this lovely-looking old house!
